At Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas our mission is to build a world - class competitive
workforce for Southeast Texas while helping job seekers gain self- sufficiency. We
bridge the gap between employers and job seekers by hosting in person job fairs where
they meet face to face. These events, held in Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, and Silsbee,
coincide with the locations of our workforce centers, ensuring accessibility and
convenience for our community members.
The annual Beaumont Spring Job Fair took place on Wednesday, April 10th at the Beaumont Major
Event Center, and was a huge success. A total of 36 employers representing various industries
participated in the job fair creating a dynamic platform for job seekers to explore diverse
career options. 348 job seekers were in attendance taking advantage of the career opportunities,
highlighting the strong interest and engagement in the job market. The turnout exceeded our
expectations, demonstrating the relevance and impact of such events in facilitating meaningful
