The Revolving Fund Loan Program began in 1987 as part of the city’s economic development and

Hiring is Happening with Workforce Solutions

As we move toward the final quarter of 2013, employers from various industries continue to partner
with Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas to hire new workers.

In Port Arthur, Workforce staff participated in the September 12th Port Arthur Housing Authority
and ITEX Group “20/20 Job Fair.” The event was held for subcontractors who will be potentially
working on demolition of old housing units and rebuilding relocated units. Businesses specializing
in demolitions, fence erecting, roofing, plumbing, glass, HVAC and installation, and general
construction all participated in the job fair.
