Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas has announced registration and sponsorships for the 2021 Virtual Youth Career Expo "Connect to Your Future!" In 2021, the Youth Career Expo will be hosted on EasyVirtual Fair, an engaging and exciting on-line event platform. Due to the effects of the ongoing pandemic, Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas board members and Steering committee overwhelmingly support this innovative, technological approach to reach thousands of local high school students, our workforce of the future. With EasyVirtual, students can access content from desk tops, tablets, and smart phones.

The Youth Career Expo, designed with the goal to provide students with knowledge of local high growth/high demand occupations and careers in Southeast Texas, has connected to as many as 12,000 students over the past five years. Teachers, counselors, and school leadership throughout Southeast and Deep East Texas actively plan for their students to attend this one of a kind event.

Participating business Exhibitors, representing local industry sectors, training and educational institutions, military branches, and college recruitment, will provide digital content in the form of occupational videos, worker testimonials, training and equipment demonstrations, and educational requirements, to local students. Students' experience various occupations, including military options, based on the Texas Education Agency (TEA) endorsements for successful high school graduation.

Registration is now open for Exhibitors; businesses, training institutions, colleges, and military recruiters are encouraged to sign up now by visiting setworks.getyourbooth.com. There is no cost to participate as an Exhibitor. Limited Sponsorship opportunities are also available. For questions and assistance, please contact Kevin King, Pamela Wise, and Suzanne Saenz, at youthexpo@setworks.org or call 1-877-834-5627.
