Workforce Connects: "Bridging Skills for Success: Workforce Solutions
Southeast Texas and Digital Workforce Academy Empowers Construction Careers"
Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas has teamed up with Digital Workforce Academy (DWA) to offer
National Center for Construction Educational Research (NCCER) pipefitter helper pre-apprenticeships
to 15 local customers, addressing the skills gap in the construction industry. DWA,
established in 1999 and based in Southeast Texas since 2007, provides a comprehensive
training program preparing individuals for success in construction trades. Funding from
Local First, supported by Golden Triangle Polymers, aids this initiative. DWA's partnerships
with local contractors enhance workforce capacity, supporting entry-level positions and
registered apprenticeships. This collaboration strengthens our community and together we
can build a world class - competitive workforce for Southeast Texas. For more information
