Southeast Texas Works! Podcast Update
Throughout the Southeast Texas Works! Podcast series, we have focused our
interactions with guests from various backgrounds and diverse industries to
provide listeners with broad ideas and focused opinions regarding workforce
development. In March, we released a unique interview with Sgt. Jeremy Kempt,
a dedicated Career Counselor for the Texas National Guard. Sgt. Kempt and
the Texas National Guard participate in many outreach events in Southeast
Texas. He shares similar partnerships with local school districts as they
prepare students for graduation from high school and the entry into higher
education or the workforce. Kempt explains how his decision to join the
Guard involved family input and provided the opportunity to select from
an array of career paths. He also shares advice for individuals considering
joining the Guard. Click here
