Slow and Steady, Jobs are Returning to SETX
For the fourth consecutive month, employment has posted over-the-month gains from last year. In May, Labor Bureau statistics show the Beaumont-Port Arthur area benefited from 1,000 new hires. That makes for a total of 3,300 new job positions since January.
The Construction, Manufacturing and Leisure and Hospitality sectors continue to lead the way with job growth.
