Workforce Helps Restaurant “Open for Business”

In just 15 days, workforce staff assisted Ms. Leslie Rider fully staff her restaurant’s new location in Orange, Texas. Due to increased customer demand, Rider made the decision to move her restaurant, Ruby’s, from Mauriceville to Orange.

The target date to reopen the eatery for business was December 30, 2013. On December 18th, workforce center staff started matching applicants to the jobs Rider needed immediately: cooks and wait-staff.
