Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas is thrilled to celebrate Bechtel Energy Inc. as the 2024 Local Employer of Excellence for
the region. Bechtel received the prestigious award during the Texas Workforce Commission's (TWC) 27th Annual Texas Workforce
Conference, held December 4-6, 2024, in Grapevine, Texas.
Each year, Local Workforce Development Boards across Texas nominate employers who demonstrate exceptional contributions to their
employees, communities, and the state. Bechtel Energy Inc. stood out for its strong partnership with Texas Workforce Solutions and
its dedication to fostering economic growth and workforce development in Southeast Texas.
As a leading engineering, construction, and project management company, Bechtel has partnered with Sempra Infrastructure to advance
the Port Arthur LNG project. This initiative has not only boosted the region's economy but also created significant job opportunities
for local workers. Bechtel's commitment to delivering projects that drive long-term benefits aligns with its mission to improve economies,
