Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas proudly recognized six employers whose efforts and initiatives have significantly impacted our community at the 2024 Employer Awards.
These awards were presented during the August board meeting, a highlight of the year where we come together to celebrate those who are committed to building a world-class,
competitive workforce in Southeast Texas.
The employers honored this year have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to innovation, workforce development, and community engagement. Their efforts have not only contributed to
the growth and sustainability of their own businesses but have also had a tremendous impact throughout Southeast Texas, creating more opportunities for job seekers and elevating the
overall quality of life in our region.
The awards ceremony featured Texas Workforce Commission Commissioner representing employers Joe Esparza as the guest speaker. Commissioner Esparza delivered an inspiring keynote address,
emphasizing the critical role that local employers play in the continued growth and prosperity of Southeast Texas. He highlighted how these businesses have adapted to the changing economic
landscape, invested in their employees, and set a standard of excellence that others aspire to follow.
Each award recipient was recognized for their unique contributions, from creating new job opportunities and offering training programs to supporting community initiatives and fostering
inclusive workplaces. These employers are not just building their own futures; they are also helping to shape the future of Southeast Texas.
