On November 8, 2018, Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas will host the 7th Annual "Hiring Red, White & You!" Veterans Job Fair at the Beaumont Workforce Solutions Center, 9:00 am - 12:00 noon. This special hiring event is held by all workforce development areas in Texas and provides the opportunity for employers, who value the military service and experience possessed by servicemen and servicewomen, to meet local Veterans actively looking for work.
Employers in Jefferson, Orange, and Hardin counties have continually supported this event since 2010. Even after the devastation of Tropical Storm Harvey, in November 2017, over 40 employers participated in "Hiring Red, White & You!" and made face-to-face contact with 130 Veterans and job seekers. According to the TWC website, Texas has over 900,000 Veterans, many of whom are still seeking employment opportunities.
There is no cost to participate in the Veterans Job Fair, however space is limited. The Beaumont Workforce Solutions Center is located at 510 Park Street, Beaumont, Texas.
