SAVE THE DATE – 2014 Hiring Red White & You! Veterans Job Fair

The time is here! The State-wide veterans' initiative, Hiring Red, White and You! (RWY), continues this year as the 28 Workforce Board areas in partnership with the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) and the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), come together to help local Veterans and returning military personnel secure employment.

This year, with support from the Mayor's office and the City of Beaumont, the event is scheduled to be held at the Beaumont Civic Center. Last year, over 80 employers, community-based Veterans' service organizations, community colleges and other educational institutions, filled the floor of the Civic Center to network with Veterans and other job seekers for employment opportunities. Veterans had access to computers and printers in the 'Internet Café', information regarding paying for secondary education, medical benefits, and wage information for the high growth-high demand jobs in Southeast Texas.
