Orange County Spring Job Fair: Connecting Talent to Opportunity in Southeast Texas |
The Orange Spring Job Fair was held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the event brought together over 20 employers
and more than 95 job seekers including 8 veterans. The job fair gave local businesses the opportunity to meet
face-to-face with candidates looking to take the next step in their careers.
Entergy Sabine, Cajun Industries, Patriot Security EOC, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and Woodforest
National Bank were just a few of the employers in attendance. Whether they were seeking office staff, or public
service professionals, each organization had similar goals of connecting with local talent and filling critical
workforce gaps.
For employers, it was a chance to strengthen their workforce and show their commitment to hiring locally. Participating
in these job fairs not only help businesses recruit but also plays a vital role in reducing unemployment across Southeast
Texas. By showing up and engaging with the community, employers are helping build a stronger Southeast Texas one hire
at a time.
