Industry Relationship Expert Appointed to Workforce Board
Claire Broussard Jackson, Manager of Social Responsibility and Community Affairs for Motiva Enterprises
The workforce board welcomes its newest member, Claire Broussard Jackson, who
was appointed by the Texas Workforce Commission in April. Jackson is the Manager
of Social Responsibility and Community Affairs for Motiva Enterprises, owner
of the largest oil and gas refinery in North America. She plans and coordinates
community activities and outreach across the company's 26-state operating
territory, ensuring an open, effective, and positive partnership with community
Jackson's professional background includes sales, managing corporate accounts,
supervising and training staff for a large hotel complex. Her past position as
liaison for community events for the Julie Rogers "Gift of Life" program added to
her skill in working with specific populations throughout Southeast Texas. Claire
is a graduate of Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School and received her Bachelors
degree from Texas Tech University.
The board members look forward to utilizing her experience and knowledge of
local industry to help enhance workforce training and educational initiatives.
Claire will represent Private Sector - Large, South Jefferson County on the board.
